The archipelago does not end at Favignana. Levanzo holds the Grotta del Genovese, with its prehistoric paintings and engravings, and a harbour of a few white houses. Marettimo is the furthest and the most vertical, a system of sea caves reached by boat. Both can be visited in a day, with local guides who know the right hours and the right sea.

Hydrofoils depart from Trapani, a 30 minute crossing. Trapani Birgi airport (TPS) is 30 minutes from the port, Palermo Punta Raisi airport (PMO) one hour and forty.
