The history of Favignana speaks with modernity in an intimate, contemporary studio, developed vertically between calcarenite walls.

The house

Designed for two, it gathers into one essential space a kitchenette, a bathroom and a sofa bed which, on request, can be found already made up with fresh linen. Outside, a private corner facing the quarry invites you to slow down and leave time suspended.

The shape of the void.

Each house lives within the same calcarenite quarry, distributed across a single multi-level structure. The floor plan tells the layout, the render restores the volume: together they say what it means to inhabit the stone.
