Cookie policy.
In short
This site uses no profiling cookies and does not track visitors. There are no traffic analytics, no social buttons that follow you, and the typefaces are hosted on our own servers rather than on Google's.
There are two exceptions, and they concern two pages only: the booking page and the contact page.
The booking page
On /en/book we load the Bedzzle booking engine, by Zucchetti Hospitality, which is what lets you see free dates and real rates.
The search form stores nothing on your device. No cookie, no data in browser storage, neither when the page opens nor when you press "Check availability". We verified this by inspecting the published page, and the supplier confirmed it in writing.
What does happen is something else, and we would rather say it: to draw the calendar, your browser downloads the engine's code from Bedzzle's servers. At that moment Bedzzle receives your IP address and browser type, as happens with any external resource. It is not tracking and it leaves nothing behind on your device, but it is contact with another supplier and we prefer to write it down.
When you open the search results, on the other hand, you enter the engine itself, on the booking.bedzzle.com domain. There a single technical session cookie is set, bzl_session_be, which holds your search together and expires when you close the browser. From that point Bedzzle's own notice applies, and they present it to you directly.
If you would rather have nothing to do with any of this, you can skip the booking page and write to us from the contact page: the request reaches us all the same.
The map on the contact page
The contact page carries a Google map, and it loads with the page. When you reach that section your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address and may set cookies of their own, under Google's rules and not ours.
This happens on that page only: Google appears nowhere else on the site. If you would rather avoid it entirely, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings, or skip the contact page and write to info@pirreraoasis.com.
What we store ourselves
One single piece of information, in your browser's local storage: the choice you make on the banner, so that we do not show it again on every visit. It is not a tracking cookie, it holds nothing that identifies you, and it never leaves your device.
How to delete everything
By clearing website data from your browser settings. The banner will reappear on your next visit, and that is the only side effect.
If this changes
If we ever switch on traffic measurement tools, this page will be updated before they go live, and the choice will remain yours.
